Yeah, I tend to think it has a lot to do with all the growth everywhere. There’s a ton more concrete, which means less ground to take it in. Also, builders try to divert water to the nearest stream/creek/river. All combined, it’s bad news for those at the end of the line.

Also, builders try to divert water to the nearest stream/creek/river. All combined, it’s bad news for those at the end of the line. That is one of the things Ryan Cade's office (Our County Commissioner) was attributing it to also. So, I ask them so, now what, we get flooded every time there is a hard rain North of us now. So, what are you guys doing about this. Heard nothing but crickets chirping. I did read where they got funding now to permanently keep the mouth of the San Bernard River open, so it will be dredged on a regular basis which is bound to help. The San Bernard has to back up through the Intercoastal Canal then share the mouth of the Brazos with the Brazos river. (Of course if Tony would stop with those rain dances it would help!.....just saying.)

Dredging will help some, but it fills back in so quick, so the time of year they do it will make a difference I believe. BT, you’re gonna have to come up with area specific dances.

We had to cancel the contract we had, the guy couldn’t secure funding. We have a friend who wants it badly, but it would be a while before he could start a contract. So, we are unfortunately going to have to actually list it with our realtor pretty soon.
