So, after many hours/days searching for another boat(specifically a Gulf Coast), here it is. Got it last weekend, only 20 minutes from our house. 2009, 20ft

I bet you can fish that in 8 to 10 inches of water, where do y'all fish out of, Matagorda?

Sea-riously, that is going to be a really handy boat. Easy to handle, easy to tow around and launch, low maintenance, very shallow draft, good on fuel, great to fish out of, great for wade fishing......very good choice.

Thanks. We will mostly be putting in at Sargent and fishing Matagorda area. We were told our Explorer would be able to go really shallow, but being in shallow water and being able to get up and out in shallow water are two different things.

That is exactly right, the 19' Super Tunnel hull Bluewave we had could get on a plane in 8" of water The prop was actually above the bottom of the boat. You are going to love this boat, I have fished off of a Gulf Coast several times.

We might try her out this afternoon. If not today, then tomorrow.
