Picked up a new Windham Weaponry AR 15 this past week. Now I have to dress it with a scope and a kill light. Them piggies are in for it now lol!

What kind of light are you putting on it? Saw some green light at the gun show the other day, suppose to work out to 300 yards....

Those look like the ones that were at the gun shows. Might have to pick me up one.

Those are good rifles you will like it. I may pick up one of those feeder lights this year too. Pigs are already starting to get bad on our place this year and we've only been feeding a few weeks. Guess I'll set the traps this weekend too.

I'm taking our trap up this weekend. I'll start baiting it this weekend but won't set it until probably weekend after next. That will be the next chance I'll have to go.

Well the new scope and mount came in yesterday and the mount wouldnt fit the scope. So off to Bass Pro this morning.Traded the P-223 Nikon 3X for the P-223 4x12x40 and the burris mount and rings for the P-223 Nikon two piece mounts and rings. Now to get it mounted, bore sighted and sighted in.Never used a scope with the tactical turrets before.Doesnt look to complicated but we will see!

Helomech has one though if you need any questions answered PM him. He's kinda like a Jedi master of all things AR's lol. Sounds like you are gonna have a sweet set up!!

Yeah the tactical turrets are pretty easy to use. Does your have the return to zero feature? It is a block that will not let you go above zero. If it does make sure you set it, it is usually adjusted with shims.

If Im expecting shots from 50 yards on out, should I set the zero at 50 yards or stay with a 100 yard zero?
