NRA-ILA Grassroots
The Texas House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety favorably reported a permitless carry bill by a vote of 6-2 on Tuesday. House Bill 1911 by Representative James White eliminates the requirement for obtaining a License to Carry for law-abiding Texans who would be eligible to qualify for that license. HB 1911 has now moved to the House Calendars Committee who will decide if and when the bill will heard by the full House.
Contact your State Representative and urge them to co-author and support HB 1911:

If HB 1911 is successfully passed, Texas will join twelve other states (Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, New Hampshire, and North Dakota) who already allow law-abiding individuals to carry a concealed handgun without a government-issued permit. Contact your Representative and tell them you believe a law-abiding adult’s right to defend himself or herself should not be conditioned by government-mandated time delays and taxes.
Yours in Freedom,

Where are they at on this bill?
I have heard a lot of folks are more in favor with HB835
But we all know how important a foot in the door is.
