Thanks, it was just a little bit too long.  I think I will make a 10" one tomorrow, of course it will be too short.  What I liked about that style is that you didn't have to be so careful when cutting around that ligament thing in the back leg when you use hooks, another thing is you don't have to worry about the hams falling off the hooks when you cut them off the animal.
