One thing I learned from Dad in cooking birds, chickens or turkeys, cook 'em breast down. That makes the juiciest white meat you've ever made. π

One thing I learned from Dad in cooking birds, chickens or turkeys, cook 'em breast down. That makes the juiciest white meat you've ever made. π I put a rotisserie on our gas grill and do chickens, they turn out fantastic too. Just about the time the juice starts to drip out, the thing turns and juice goes back to the center and it just keeps repeating the process. This is what we did.

Last year I hickory smoked a Turkey with just basic seasoning and it was really good. I asked Susan how she wanted me to cook it and she said just like last year. π I'll take some pics. π
