So far at my blind, nice looking young 8 point, he needs to grow up some more, a few sika does and a bunch and I mean a bunch of hogs. I bet I watched 50 or 60 this (Saturday) afternoon.
One more quickie hunt in the morning for a big axis doe and then the rest of the day will be cleaning up around here and packing up the truck and trailer. Heading out early Monday morning.

It wasn’t that cold here, well it was 39, cold enough. Hope you got your axis.

No deer this trip, oh well will give us another reason for going back. I still have a bunch of "stuff" to get caught up on up there.

Well shoot, just have to try again. I didn’t realize how low we are on ground meat. We need to take a couple deer to get processed.

I was digging around in the freezer getting that turkey out last week and dang if I didn't run across a package of backstraps. We thought we have been out for about a year now.
