The last time we were at the cabin we started hearing a "clanking" noise coming from the front end of the side by side. It was so bad we were really concerned if we were going to make it back to the cabin before the front wheel fell off. So, we parked it, the next trip up we took the 20' trailer and brought it back to the house. I was thinking a wheel bearing was going out. Boy, was I surprised. So far this is what I have do• Replaced right and left front CV boots • Replaced rack and pinion boot • Replaced both front ball joints • Replaced 32 bushings on front and back • Replaced regulator/rectifier • Changed oil and filter • Cleaned air filter • Caulked between frame and bed to eliminate the plastic rattling on metal • Made a caulk gasket on the storage compartment door • Installed rubber bumpers on the tailgate to eliminate rattling • Removed plywood top and caulked roll cage to eliminate rattling • Caulked inside the tailgate to eliminate rattling This is what is left to do
• Installed LED lights and switches • Installed electrical terminal blocks • Installed exterior battery terminals for solar charger connections and for jump starting • Installed interior cab lighting Photos
Not sure why all the photos didn't load, anyway.....
