Rex,one of the best I have owned!
Starr,Llewellen Setter. He never got excited about anything but birds!
I wasn't sure about this guy! I had just had to have Rex put down and was down in the dumps about it when the ex-wife came up with this litter for us to go look at! Duke came home with us!
A little yard work with Duke
Then Duke got big lol!

This was our boy Banjo. He was truly a member of the family. He came to us from a working cattle ranch in Bosque County when he was 4. He would literally do WHATEVER it took to put a smile on your face. He protected Susan and the kids with his life. He took on unruly Dogs and Coyotes and put them in their place. He loved to play, track, hunt, it didn't matter to him, he had more desire to please than any Dog I've ever had. He loved the frisbie and tennis ball as much as he loved his soccer ball. He was 1/4 Collie, 1/4 Blue Healer and 1/2 Coyote. The guy I got him from, who has now walked on, told me of a rumor where one of his litter mates was lost in a poker game for $1000 dollars. Banjo lived with us for 14 1/2 years, making him 18 1/2 when we had to put him down because of cancer. I cried like a baby. I still get a little misty thinking about him. I lost him on July the 3rd in '09. We got Rocky at nearly the same time.
