The hogs are back and tearing up the yard again. Traps are "locked and loaded " and the game cam is set up. Should have some video in the morning.

Nothing so far.
Traps are baited with corn, watermelon rinds, egg shells, coffee grinds, it should start smelling good to them after today.

It seems they have moved down to the other end of the neighborhood. The traps are still locked and loaded though.

Pigs are smarter than folks give 'em credit for. They learn fast. We've found that portable traps work better because you can move them around, even if only a few feet. If they keep seeing the same thing they won't make the same mistakes.

We had snow crabs last night I dumped the water they cook in and threw the shells in the big trap. Went out this morning to find the trap was sprung and the door shut, but nothing inside. And, of course I moved the camera to the other trap.
