Just made a big batch to take to the hubby and his office crew. So easy and so hearty
How do y'all make yours, what do you put in yours? Me, I put potatoes, ham, carrots and onion. I use evaporated milk, instead of regular milk. Lots of pepper and a little salt.

Potato, onion, bacon, carrot (small one), sometimes a small bit of celery, whole milk, butter (margarine), S&P. Cook cubed veggies in water with bacon & 2 chicken bullion cubes, when done add the milk and butter, mashing a portion to thicken up. trying to find some way to add a jalapeno and cheese to that.. will try topping next bowl with shredded cheddar or jalapeno cheese just to see what it's like. I keep 1% Milk on hand for diet considerations, sometimes I boost the "creamy" in my dishes by adding Instant Dry Non-Fat Milk Powder. Works on Smoothies too.
