It's over for me!! There is still a 2 week muzzleloader season here but I don't have a muzzleloader so I'm done until next season. Cleaned my ol 270 and put it in the safe yesterday. But I broke out the AR and got it ready to kill some swine and other assorted critters until it warms up enough to go fishing!! They are gonna clearcut 200 acres of the lease and select cut the rest starting in the next couple weeks. I'm excited about that it should make some good hunting for next season.

We still have 2 more weeks of Does and Spikes. I sure would like to grind a Pig and a Doe together.

Now is when that Freak Nasty non typical will walk by at 25 yards and give you about a 2 minute broadside view. Then he gives you that big ol' middle finger and trots off.

I hate not being able to burn any of my whitetail tags. Two weeks of muzzleloader left, and still probably won't get to hunt. Told my hubby that next season better be a lot different.
